Once Lost Found Forever (2018): The novel is a sequel to Some Silent Steps with something new to it. It is based on the theme of self-discovery amid the dilemmas of identity crisis, meaninglessness and boredom of everyday life. The story of the novel is related to the lives of two girls, Shagun and Girija, who take almost opposite routes in their respective lives but unfortunately end up on the same point. Shagun runs away from home and lives her life with her own choice. On the other hand, Girija remains a good girl in her mother’s household. But they both get frustrate in the course of their lives. Shagun exhausts herself sexually and gets infected with HIV; whereas Girija has never been allowed to even talk to boys. She develops a sense of fear in the name of sex and doesn’t let her husband consummate with her. The novel discusses in its course some most relevant issues of individual’s growth, sexual orientation and spiritual connection to our being. None of the girls understands what it is to be in love. When you chase love, love chases someone else. The moment you realise, you are love, only love remains, you disappear and so is the chase forever.
