Hi, I'm Dr. Jit Mukherjee, working as an Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
I have obtained my Ph.D degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur on image processing (remote sensing applications). Thereafter, I have joined AIRA Matrix and worked on deep learning based solutions of histopathology images. Prior to these, I have obtained my M.S degree from School of Information Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur on Heritage Image Processing. I was a postdoc scholar at the University of Pavia, Italy (2024-2025), working on agricultural remote sensing.
