Hi, I'm Jisoo Lee.

I'm currently working as a Research Associate at the Duke Center for AI in Radiology (DAIR), where I bring expertise gained from my previous role as a Deep Learning Researcher at Samsung Medical AI Center (SMAIC). At SMAIC, I contributed to a study titled "A comparative study of DL and non-DL methods in support of 3D MRI brain biomarker segmentation and volumetry for Parkinson's disease." 

I graduated with a B.B.A. in Business Analytics and Information Systems from the University of Iowa in 2017. During my time at UIowa, I led teams in competitions like Startup Games and the Business Analytics competition at CompTia AITP, enhancing my adaptability and perseverance in tackling challenges. Moving forward, I obtained my M.S. in Telecommunications (Electrical and Computer Engineering) from the University of Maryland in 2021. This opportunity allowed me to explore the integration of Machine Learning with Cloud/Fog/Edge Computing, further expanding my skill set and knowledge base.

My journey through fields such as business analytics, telecommunications, and deep learning has given me a well-rounded perspective on deploying AI in real-world contexts.
