at the Ohio State University
I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Ohio State University, specializing in micro-economics and econometrics with an interest in contributing to sustainable agriculture and forest management.
My research centers on how social and economic institutions shape economic agents’ decision-making processes, particularly in the context of policy implementation. I am particularly interested in the effects of land institutions such as tenure system, markets, taxes, and regulations on agents’ decisions related to production, environmental conservation, and their economic well-being. Most of my current research involves panel data analysis at the county, household, and parcel levels to test insights from production and land/real estate economics in the contexts of the USA and South Korea.
