About Department

Vision

The department of Humanities in the coming years seeks to

become a Center for research in English Language and Literature,

Economics and other allied subjects. We aim to use this experience to

further enhance the courses that are offered in the department so that

we benefit from its applicability in the professional lives of our students.

Our mission is to achieve the best in class teaching through

faculty that is highly qualified and trained in their domains of expertise,

so that our students gain optimum benefit from the knowledge

received therein.

Our objective is to provide an outcome oriented teaching to

budding engineers and future citizens of the world who are in touch

with grim social realities and to encourage them to develop sound

inclination towards social transformations by making effective and

appropriate use of their technical expertise.
