Jiqian DONG
Ph.D. Student (CE & ECE)
I am presently a Ph.D. candidate in Transportation Engineering with a specific focus on Autonomous Driving and Intelligent Transportation Systems under the guidance of Prof. Samuel Labi. Alongside, I am also pursuing an M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Before joining Purdue, I got my first M.S. degree from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and my B.Eng. in Tongji University (TJU).
As a researcher with the Center for Connected and Automated Transportation (CCAT), my research interests lie in learning-based motion planning for (connected) autonomous vehicles and trustworthy AI in the context of autonomous driving.
Excitingly, I recently joined the Purdue Black and Gold Autonomous Racing team, where I am responsible for developing software for an awesome autonomous racing vehicle that can reach 200 mph.
I invite you to explore more about my research and experiences!
