Hi just downloaded Nox again after giving up on it a few years ago as would not get past 99%, downloaded cinema HD and on playing any film it sounds crackerly and robotic. Even the ads. My sound is fine on every other application, its just on playing anything on here. Could it be nox or hd cinema that is the issue? Thanks

I have windows 10

But trying to get a 27" Cinema Display to work with a PC(windows 8 64bit) that has a Nvidia Quadro NVS315 video card. I have two monitors on this computer 1) 27" Cinema display 2) regular dell monitor.

Hey, obviously this is an old thread. But as I have recently come across this problem. I thought I'd add that I resolved this issue after installing windows 10 and launching the NVidia graphics utility. Under the size and scaling options I found a check box enabling Nvidia to force size and scaling, after checking this windows detected the apple cinema displays full resolution of 1920x1080. This makes zero sense to me, but I am rocking an AMD Vishera 8 core @ 3.5Ghz, GTX 970 GPU, and 24GB's of RAM, so naturally I was pretty furious to see this cinema display refuse its native display and give me mixed results. Hope this helps someone out there, to this date I am still fighting with my machines at work which run windows 7. I hope that once my client upgrades to windows 10 I can put this problem behind me. Also, sorry this took years to get a response.

I have the same 27 inch mini displayport cinema display on windows 8 and have the same issue. I can boot my ATI graphics card in windows and it maxes out at 1280x800, however if i put the same graphics card into my mac pro it get full 2560x1440 resolution out of the same dual link DVI port. So i know it is not a limitation of the card or cabling, so i figure it has to be EDID related. I messed around with the CRU (custom resolution utility) for a bit to no avail and eventually came across something strange. If i used the mini displayport connector on my graphics card and attached this monoprice adapter before the kanex it all worked!

This probably isn't useful to most people, as they would just use the mini displayport connection directly to the cinema display to begin with if that was an option. However in my application i needed to run over a 100 ft dual link DVI cable to the remote display. Surprisingly this all worked great with no signal degradation!

As Cinema HD is not available for download in Google Play store, and the official website is quite erratic under the surveillance of anti-piracy organizations, you're able to download the latest version of Cinema HD APK for PC from some mirror website: cinemahdapkapp.com, cinemahdapk.info, cinemahd.onl, cinemahd.app.

In addition to assisting FilmScene with regular programming and operations, the Bijou curates special series with panel discussions and Q&As. This includes Horizons, a series that aims to broaden understanding of diverse cultures through cinema. This academic year, Horizons took us on a cinematic world tour with films from Chile, Israel, Afghanistan, Brazil and India.

We are proud of the rich cinematic offerings available at FilmScene. As a community-supported cinema, we have been humbled by your overwhelming support. Opening our first home in late 2013, the single-screen Scene 1 cinema, we exhibited more than 200 different feature films in our first year of operation. With just 65 seats, we welcomed more than 35,000 moviegoers and already have nearly 1,000 patrons who support FilmScene with annual memberships. Those are remarkable numbers.

Anyone using an apple cinema display with a PC? The "new" 23inch display seems like a really good choice - S-IPS, 1920 x 1200, $999, not overly bright, etc. I can't seem to find another with comparable specs (though some may be coming out in the next few months with Phillips's new panels...?).

Anyway, I've read that all the controls for the Apple cinema displays are included as part of the Mac OS, and the only thing PC users can do is adjust the brightness. Anybody out there tried this combo, and calibrated it? what was your experience?

Well, after visiting a local printing vendor who had one (23-inch apple cinema), and hearing him rave about it, I decided to just go for it. I needed a new video card, and to drive that I needed a new power supply for my PC. Everything came yesterday, and it only took about 40 minutes to install everything - had zero issues.
