I joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Ewha Womans University as an Assistant Professor in March 2026. Prior to this, I was a Staff Engineer at Samsung Electronics, which was my first professional affiliation following my master's degree. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Seoul National University in 2025 under the supervision of Professor Hyeonsang Eom. I also hold B.S. and M.S. degrees from Sungkyunkwan University, received in 2013 and 2015, respectively. My research focuses on performance optimization for software systems, with particular emphasis on operating systems, file and storage systems, database management systems (DBMS), and distributed storage systems.
