Research Vision

My research focuses on human-state-aware robot partner systems for smart living and assistive robotics. I study how robots and intelligent systems can estimate users’ attention, intention, interest, hesitation, and support needs from multimodal nonverbal information such as gaze, gesture, posture, and contextual information.

The goal of my research is to develop human-centric robotic systems that can provide adaptive support in daily living environments, smart homes, healthcare, education, and mobility assistance.
