Welcome!

I am an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Judith Norman Davis and Kim G. Davis Professor of Business Analytics in the Department of Operations and Decision Technologies at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.

My research focuses on utilizing algorithmic techniques from computer science and theories from social sciences to understand and address emerging issues in recommender systems.  I am interested in both the computational and behavioral aspects of recommender systems.  My current research has covered a number of issues, including stability of recommendation algorithms, biasing effects of recommender systems, impacts of data characteristics on recommendation accuracy, and longitudinal dynamics of recommender systems performance.
