The orientations of galaxies are aligning the large-scale structure and each other. Such alignmnet contains information of both cosmology and galaxy formation/ evolution. I am developing methods of extracting IA signal that can be applied to onging/future surveys to constrain cosmology.

The interplay between large scale structure, surrounding environment, dark matter halos, and galaxies are key for constraining cosmology using galaxy surveys. I am putting efforts to understand thie interplay mostly from theoretical side.
Halo bias stays unchanged with halo mass in given LSS environments (red->blue: densest-> most underdense. for more information see Shi and Sheth (2017)
