Jinghui Chen, Ph.D., ASA Candidate

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in Actuarial Science at Risk and Insurance Studies Center under the supervision of Prof. Sheldon Lin (University of Toronto) and Prof. Edward Furman (York University).

In Jan 2024, I got my PhD in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science at Vrije Universiteit Brussel under the supervision of Prof. Carole Bernard and Prof. Steven Vanduffel.

My research interest is focused on dependence modelling, portfolio optimization, risk management and operations research. Moreover, I am pursuing the ASA designation of the Society of Actuaries.
