Jinghui Chen, PhD

I am currently a Research Assistant Professor in Actuarial Science at the University of Connecticut.

In Jan 2024, I got my PhD in Actuarial Science at Vrije Universiteit Brussel under the supervision of Prof. Carole Bernard and Prof. Steven Vanduffel. After I earned my PhD, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Actuarial Science from 2024 to 2026 at the Risk and Insurance Studies Centre, under the supervision of Prof. Sheldon Lin (University of Toronto) and Prof. Edward Furman (York University). Then, I moved to Singapore for a Research Fellow in Actuarial Science position at the National University of Singapore and stayed there for half a year.
