My name is Jingdan Tan. I am an Assistant Professor in Accounting in the School of Accounting and Finance at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I earned my Ph.D. in Accounting from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University at Singapore in 2025. Prior to my Ph.D., I worked at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) for three years.
My research interest lies in financial archival studies, with a special focus on corporate ESG practices, financial reporting and corporate disclosure, and corporate governance.
