I have always been amazed by the splendor and complexity of natural landscapes. Growing up in Yunnan, an inland province in one of southwest China's least-developed regions, I had priceless opportunities to explore the breathtaking terrain, examine the geological structures, and observe the night sky. It was these early experiences that inspired me to devote myself to the field of planetary science. I am beyond excited about the numerous possibilities that will pursue a career in planetary geology, and with these future aspirations in mind, I have decided to pursue my further graduate research in the Ph.D. program at University of Tokyo, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kurokawa Hiroyuki.
