Paper [2] is based on this thesis. In addition, the thesis contains a rigorous proof of the existence of the affinized BPS Lie algebra, building on ideas of Davison–Hennecart–Kinjo-Schiffmann–Vasserot. Since this result is used extensively in [2], the thesis may be read as a useful companion.
