About Me:

Currently, I am a Principal Scientist at Pfizer R & D, Cambridge, MA. I received my PhD from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Tufts University under the guidance of Prof. Eric Miller.  Due to both personal interests and needs from my work, I also obtained a master degree online in applied statistics from Pennsylvania State University while working full time.

Before Tufts, I graduated from  the Chinese Academy of Sciences with a master degree in signal and information processing. I obtained a B.A degree in the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

I can be reached at jinchengpang AT gmail.com (preferred) or jincheng.pang AT tufts.edu or jincheng.pang AT pfizer.com.

Research Interests:

My research interests include but are not limited to biomedical image analysis, signal, image and video processing, machine learning and applied statistics.

Specifically, my work at Tufts and Pfizer involves developing, applying and validating image/data processing pipelines and statistical analysis methods to large amount of biological and clinical data to investigate disease progression mechanisms  and/or evaluate drug effect etc. I have been delivering high quality quantitative analysis solutions for decision making in a timely manner.
