• Controversy: The new version is built on the Solana blockchain and includes a cryptocurrency called the "Flap Token." Original creator Dong Nguyen has publicly stated he has no connection to this reboot.

• Recent Trends (2026): As of early January 2026, new creative variations like "Foldy Bird" (designed as a "stress test" for foldable phones) have emerged, keeping the mechanics relevant for modern hardware.
