Lead Pastor Candidate

Hello, and thank you for clicking on this page to learn a little more about me!

I have served as a pastor for over 15 years, and have been in full time ministry for 26 years, including time as an Area Director on Young Life staff, Student Ministries Pastor, Worship Pastor and Campus Pastor.  I'm currently the Discipleship Pastor at Burke Community Church, outside of Washington, D.C., and have completed my Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.

I believe that God has been equipping me throughout my journey to lead in a Senior Pastor role in the next phase of my life.

My wife's name is Kristen, and she is a gifted artist, as well as a powerful church leader, having served with me in full-time ministry in the past.  She earned her masters from Dallas Theological Seminary as well.  I have four kids--Jack (19), Thomas (17), Jane and Andrew (14 yr old twins).  They are truly an amazing bunch!

I met Jesus on a cool fall evening in western Maryland when I was a freshman in High School, and to this day, though there have been many ups and downs along the way, I still believe that the single greatest thing I get to do in this life is to talk to others about who Jesus is--how He has transformed my life, and how He wants to transform theirs too.
