I joined UT Dallas as an Assistant Professor of Operations Management in summer 2024. Before that, I was a Ph.D. candidate in the Decision, Risk, and Operations (DRO) division of Columbia University Graduate School of Business. I am happy to discuss potential research opportunities with self-motivated students who have rigorous training in math/stats/or/cs/economics.
I work closely with healthcare professionals to address emerging questions about improving healthcare delivery in the digital age. I'm particularly interested in emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, LLM) in healthcare as well as behavioral aspects of healthcare. I develop and utilize empirical tools to have a deep understanding of key tradeoffs in the healthcare system, and use other operations research tools to provide structural insights and identify prescriptive policies.
