Another key area of focus is the shaft angle and body position at impact. As illustrated in the down the line view with the V1 application, in the image below on top Adam Scott delivers the body and shaft to impact perfectly. His power side is rotated at impact, the dominant shoulder is lower working down and the shaft angle has returned to the original spot. This assures a center face strike and a hit delivered with the power of the entire body’s rotational force. With the bottom image the body and shaft position are quite different. Unlike Adam Scott the student below has not rotated his body yet. The club is being delivered by pulling the arms and hands down resulting in the rise of the body and a much more vertical shaft angle.
