Welcome!
I am a Ph.D. Student in the Political Science Department at the University of Washington. Before coming to UW, I earned a master's degree in political science (2022) from Korea University and a bachelor's degree in French language and literature and Politics, Economics and Law (2020) from Korea University.
My research focuses on human rights, particularly examining the dynamic interactions within naming and shaming campaigns at domestic and international levels. By analyzing the role of emotion and variance in emotive valence, my work reveals how external pressures and strategic reactions impact human rights outcomes.
