I'm Jiayao Zhang (张嘉瑶), a Physics Engineer at Cloud Imperium Games in Frankfurt, working on real-time physics simulation for StarEngine: articulated body dynamics, hair/rope simulation, softbody/cloth, constraint solvers, and async simulation architecture. I currently focus on physics performance optimization for Squadron 42.

Previously I was a Game Engine Developer at ByteDance Games building synthetic data pipelines with Houdini, Blender, and Unreal PCG for rendering/physically stable 3D Scenes, and deploying neural mesh deformation (ML Deformers) in production. I hold an MS in Computer Science from KAUST's Visual Computing Center.

Focus Areas

- Real-time physics simulation (articulated bodies, softbody, constraint solvers)

- Robotics simulation & embodied AI (NVIDIA Warp, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo)

- ML systems & GPU kernels (Triton, CuTe DSL, FP8 quantization)

- 3D perception & neural representations (NeRF, 3DGS, deformable models)
