Jiaxing Song
Postdoctoral researcher, Humboldt fellow. Turbulent and complex flows.
I am working as a guest scientist at Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization since January 2024 and postdoc at Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research from September 2021 to December 2023, funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship. I received my BA degree in theoretical and applied mechanics from Lanzhou University at 2016 and the PhD degree in fluid mechanics from University of Science and Technology of China at 2021. In recent years I have focused in turbulence simulations, geophysical flows, thermal convection, and complex flows of viscoelastic fluids with particular interests in Rayleigh-Bénard and Taylor-Couette turbulence.
