 To investigate the heterogeneous process of HO2 with synthesized aerosol particles, how could the chemical composition, pH and size of particles affect the multiphase processes? Such HO2 loss would further alter the oxidant generation in the air. A talk about my research is available online.

We conducted six intensive field observations over different sites in Japan. The air quality in urban/suburban/coastal areas of Japan have been investigated using the top-down and bottom-up approaches of OH reactivity. The loading of unknown trace species could be characterised and we further estimated their contributions to oxidant generation.
