Welcome to my website!
I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the National University of Singapore (NUS). I have joint appointment with the Yale-NUS College.
I received my PhD degree in Political Science from Emory University in 2021, and was a Pre-doctoral Fellow with the Democracy Program at The Carter Center.
I study international and comparative political economy, focusing on government-business relations, interactions between rule of law institutions and corruption, and the risk-mitigation strategies of multinational corporations (MNCs) operating across diverse jurisdictions. My book project examines the impact of transnational legal regimes on the rent-seeking behavior of public and private actors.
My research has appeared in journals including Comparative Political Studies and International Organization, among other outlets. I received the David A. Lake Award for the Best Paper Presented at the 2019 IPES Conference with my coauthor.
