English for Specific Purposes: Calculus (2023)

This course aims at English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and thereby is conducted in English. Mandarin is (partially) used only in the occasion of checking understanding and during the Q&A session. The course materials are illustrated mainly by examples from high school mathematics and calculus. The purpose is to help students to get used to taking courses in the framework of English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI).
