My area of expertise is nonlinear dynamical systems, with research interests in dynamics of nonlinear waves (especially spiral/scroll waves), symmetry breaking and pattern formation, bifurcation without and with parameters, delayed feedback controls, and mathematical biology. I am co-organizing the Webinar on Nonlinear Evolutionary Dynamics supported by the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS).
From 2021 to 2024, I held a position as assistant professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at National Chung Hsing University. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the NCTS under the mentorship of Prof. Chiun-Chuan Chen (陳俊全教授) and Prof. Sze-Bi Hsu (許世壁教授). During this time, I also held the position of adjunct assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics, National Taiwan University.
I completed my PhD in 2017 at the Free University of Berlin under the supervision of Prof. Bernold Fiedler. My PhD dissertation dealt with establishing a global bifurcation structure for spiral waves of the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation.
