Background

My drawing skills developed before entering elementary school, spending most of my time drawing derpy ponies and stick figures. But as the years go on, I started to improve more by teaching myself to reach out toward different kinds of techniques and persuading myself to come out from some of my limitations. The things I enjoy and my fixation with horror will help me improve towards finding a style that will fit right for me. To help me find it suitable until it becomes professional.

In freshmen year, I've taken Arts exploration 1-2. Helping me to understand the outside boundaries when it comes to exploring different types of art and how trying different techniques can help improve my artwork later in the future.

In sophomore year, I've taken both Photography 1-2 and Drawing/Painting 1-2. I was able to get a feel for painting, considering how painting is not known to be a good medium for me. But I was able to get a hang of it. Sadly, Photography was quite difficult to get a good picture considering we weren't able to get an experience with the cameras due to quarantine.

In junior year, I've taken Photography 3-4. Helped me to finally be able to get used to more techniques that improve more in my editing and work.

Now in my Senior year, I've taken Photography 5-6 and Drawing/Painting 3-4. I can finally finish up my school year with my final classes relating to art. These last few classes had extremely helped me a lot with discovering more techniques and now trying to get myself out of my comfort zone in order to express my hidden emotions to everyone.

The Artist

I adore a lot of types of art, my main favorites are abstract, art deco, impressionism, realism, and futurism. My preferred art style is leaning more on cartoons or anime, in my opinion, I feel more comfortable about it since it's something I made myself learn throughout the years.

Something that influences me a lot is my girlfriend's fantastic work and mythical horror. I really adore my girlfriend's artwork cause the amount of detail she put in each drawing is amazing, with mythical horror being something that I'm very fixated on. It gives me a lot of amazing ideas to also make my artwork and characters unique by designs and backgrounds. My artwork most of the time consists of women, but I would say it's the eyes that make my artwork unique along with a special signature I input. For example, most of my characters have unique colored eyes and eye formation, and with male characters, I tend to add feminine eyelashes on them since I'm not very used to drawing them.

In complete work, I would know it's finished when I add the final white highlights. These highlights are the main and important part of bringing the final display, making them pop and dazzled.

Goals

My goal for the future is to become a professional animator, for both character designs and creating cartoons to show the world what I'm able to come up with.

By taking my animation major in college, I set myself off to learn under professionals so someday I'll be able to teach my friends or other classes with these techniques and abilities so they too can get a hang of it.
