We welcome four new students to the Smile Lab at Johns Hopkins University.
Xiutian Zhao, a Ph.D. student, will focus on research at the intersection of speech and language, specifically working on audio-language models.
Avantika Singh, a Master’s student in Data Science, will be working on developing advanced deepfake detection systems.
Luqi Sun, a Master’s student in ECE, will be working on Alzheimer's dementia detection from speech prosody.
Divyansh Lalwani, an undergraduate student in Biomedical Engineering, will explore brain-to-speech decoding.
