Pairings should be out shortly after the deadline.
Projects: A list of topics and their detailed descriptions will be made available. Please note that more projects may be added before the deadline. Check throughout the week before making your decisions.
If you do not meet the prerequisites for the project, you will not be assigned to it unless a compelling reason is explicitly provided.
Apply to any mentor: Your mentor can be from a department that is not yours.
E.g., a pure math major may apply for an applied math topic and vice versa.
Some "applied" topics may be "pure" in nature and vice versa--look through the projects with an open mind.
You will also have the choice of enrolling for 1 course credit. Further instructions for this will be given after acceptance.
