ECCO is an auditioned chamber choir (SATB) of JHU students under the umbrella of the Choral Society. We perform advanced works from a variety of genres, from 16th century madrigals to vocal jazz and modern choral music. We perform in all Choral Society concerts and are often asked to perform as part of various benefits and group concerts both on-campus and in the Baltimore area.

Auditions are held yearly, or by semester at the discretion of the director. Fall auditions are held typically before the first Choral Society practice. We will run you through some basic exercises and read through a few pieces as a group. You do not have to prepare any music -- we are primarily looking for voices that fit will with the group.
