The specific purpose of the organization is the planning, organization and presentation of the overnight Senior Party for current graduates of Thomas Jefferson High School, Bloomington, MN. These include such activities that the Board of Directors determines are necessary to present a fun, engaging, safe environment for post-graduation celebration. If for some unforeseen circumstance that there can be no party whatsoever for any year, the Board of Directors shall determine an appropriate way to recognize the graduating Seniors.

There is no paid staff and the Board of Directors is made up of volunteer parents from Thomas Jefferson High School Bloomington, MN. We have over 250 family volunteers that help plan and run the party each year.

Text of the waiver to be signed by seniors (18+) or their parents when registering for the party:
"RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
NOTE: THIS FORM MUST READ AND SIGNED BY PARTICIPANT BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN ANY GAMES AT THE 2023 SENIOR PARTY
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the 2023 Jefferson Senior Party and related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that:
1. The risk of participation in the games at the senior party can and may cause injury even though protective measures are in place.
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THENEGLIGENCE of those persons released from liability below, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I understand that the activities can be physically and mentally intense. I understand that the rules of the games will be explained to me, and if I observe an unusual unnecessary hazard during my participation, I will bring such to the attention of the nearest official as soon as practical; and,
4. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
5. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releasees or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
6. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe and any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
7. I, for myself and on behalf of myself and my personal representatives, hereby release and hold harmless Thomas Jefferson High School, the senior party committee, committee volunteers, Jefferson activity center, the owners and leasers of the equipment and games used at the senior party, other participants, entertainers, vendors, sponsors, (“releasees”), with respect to any and all illness, any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from the negligence of releases or otherwise, except that which is the result of gross negligence and/or wanton misconduct, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. I understand and agree that this release of liability agreement covers this activity or event in which I will participate hereafter."
