What Is Skills USA? 

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. We help each student excel. A nonprofit national education association, SkillsUSA serves middle-school, high-school, and college/postsecondary students preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations.

SkillsUSA is an organization that prepares students for a successful career. Whether it be welding, cosmetology, or computer science, SkillsUSA equips students with the technical, workplace, and personal skills they need to succeed.

Competitions

Jefferson Skills USA members are given the oppurtunity to compete in a variety of competitions that help boost their leadership and technical skills. They compete on district, regional, state, and even national level. Students will test their skills against other Skills USA members in welding, design, robotics, speeches, and more. Skills USA is a great way for students to learn about needed skills for their future careers.
