The Leviathan is a short film project based on true events, highlighting society’s current immersion in discourses of hate, racism, and discrimination. Through a clash provoked by two characters under the influence of substances, an unusual incident unfolds during a particular event. When the affected party mentions the most logical step in such situations—calling the police to file a report—the characters become enraged, as if hiding something, and unleash a verbal and aggressive outburst of hatred against the victim. One of them flees the scene while the other stays behind to take responsibility. In the end, these two neurotic characters are left as the guilty ones, and the insurance company never took responsibility for repairing the damaged car. What takes place in the short is ultimately a social event meant for reflection.
