My name is Jhon Bladimir Caicedo Portilla, and I am a PhD student in Mathematics at Universität Osnabrück, Germany. Since April 2023, I have been working under the supervision of Prof. Martina Juhnke.  Before that, I completed my master's degree at the Universidad de Talca, Chile, under the supervision of Prof. Luc Lapointe, and my bachelor's degree at the Universidad Sergio Arboleda, Colombia, under the supervision of Prof. José Luis Ramírez.

My research is centered on the interaction between Ehrhart theory and the geometry of lattice simplices (despite their rather misleading name 😅). I also have research experience in symmetric functions, posets, and enumerative combinatorics.
