In January 2025, God brought our worlds together in the most unexpected way — online. From the very beginning, it felt like something different. Not long after we started talking, Jackson asked if Haley would join him on a date. Upon arriving, Jackson may have appeared from nowhere and scared Haley to death... But once the shock wore off, something beautiful clicked. It was love at first sight — like two pieces of a puzzle finally fitting exactly where they were meant to be.
Our first date wasn’t just a date — it was a family introduction. Haley’s brothers and sisters all tagged along, and somehow Jackson didn’t miss a beat. Instead of being overwhelmed, he said it felt like he was already part of the family. That night set the tone for everything that followed. On February 17, 2025, we officially started dating — and the adventure truly began.
That summer was full of laughter, growth, and countless memories. From beach days with family to quiet fishing trips by ourselves, from playing with our sweet dog Justice to getting completely rained out and spontaneously driving across the state just to go to the zoo — every moment felt like a gift. Through it all, we saw how the Lord was weaving our lives together, teaching us patience, joy, and what it means to love one another intentionally. Whether we’re tending to our horse, Scotch, or simply enjoying the everyday moments, we’ve learned that serving Christ together is the foundation of our relationship.
In September, we were gifted a dinner at Epic Chophouse, and we thought it would be a simple, sweet evening. We spent the morning fishing before getting all dressed up for dinner. On the way, Jackson casually mentioned he had forgotten his wallet at the dock — so we turned around to grab it. But when we arrived, Haley walked into the most beautiful surprise: our family and friends gathered together, the dock decorated perfectly, and the man of her prayers down on one knee. Through happy tears and a very obvious “yes,” we stepped into our next chapter.
Since that day, life has been a joyful whirlwind — buying a camper, spending time with friends and family, building a home filled with laughter, and most importantly, falling more in love with each other every single day. We know that our story is one written by God, and we are beyond grateful that He chose us for each other. We can’t wait to continue building a Christ-centered marriage rooted in faith, friendship, and forever.
