Hello, I am Juhun Baik and I am a 6th year graduate student in KAIST, South Korea, under supervision of professor Harry Hyungryul Baik .
I expect to graduate in the fall of 2025. I am currently looking for a postdoctoral position that will start in the fall of 2025 or later.
I finish my B.S in Mathematics and Computer Science, double major at SungKyunKwan University in Suwon, South Korea.

This is my CV (last update :10 Oct, 2024)
My research interests is based on low dimensional topology. More precisely, I am really interested in infinite type surfaces and its mapping class groups, so called Big mapping class groups. I am also fond of the objects and figures from complex dynamics, especially the Cantor set that arises naturally in the complex dynamics.
One aspect of my research interests is to study mapping classes induced from the complex dynamical system, such that as the parameter varies, the invariant set (usually a Cantor set) varies and produce a braid of uncountably many strands.
Here is my publication list including the short description of the motivation and results of each article.
