Since I joined University I always wanted to get up and first thing I look at, be able to see all of my day right there displayed in front of my eyes while i check on how unruly my hair is. Yes there are many commercialized options such as an Amazon Echo Show and similar projects that have been created. My focus on being able to keep this mirror different from everyone Else's will be the integration of various other features that are almost impossible to live without in today's world. Along with this there will be either or both Google Assistant / Amazon Alexa running in the background depending upon your preference.

The Smart Mirror should not be smart by just being able to display info, i want it to also talk to me. Not like those generic assistants, But someone who knows who I am. This assistant will be hand programmed by me in order to better fit my lifestyle. I would also like to integrate some health and security features too .

The dream is to make a HUB of most tech that I use and not be concealed by the boundaries of a specific brand or industry giant , but to be able to showcase the power of open source software that can be tweaked and programmed according to a users liking.

This is just the beginning. The Capabilities are endless..
