Gary Pickardt
Project Manager

Gary Pickardt of Pickardt Performance (2Ps) was the originator of the Jim Gilbert Memorial Build in 2020. Each year, he helps to devise the plan and make it all come together.

Jen Goss
Project Coordinator

Jen Goss, President of Mid-Atlantic Fiero Owners Association, again brings her organizational skills to the table to identify the scope of the project and make sure all the pieces come together.

Matt Goss
Jack of All Trades

Matt Goss' years of experience learning from Jim Gilbert paid off in allowing him to tackle most Fiero projects. This year, Matt continued to help marshal resources and coordinate efforts to pull off what needs to be done.

Team Members & Their Roles

Matt McGowan

The other half of team M & M, Matt performed critical advisory roles such as car assessment, on-site planning and post-build coordination. Matt's years of industry experience and local knowledge are invaluable. This year he played a key role in diagnosing a variety of issues and also in ensuring that all tools were accounted for.

Cody Kline

Cody is always a key part of the build and this year, he helped ensure that the main project made it safely to Virginia, while also ferrying two other Fieros across the state, AND being a major contributor to getting it all done. His role in the build grows each year and we're glad to have him as part of the team!

Wes Shiring

Wes is up for lending a hand on any project in the garage to continue to grow his knowledge. He also always brings the humor and the head pats for Reese & Killian.

Tami George

Tami brings humor and moral support to every event and this one was no exception. She was also a huge help with cleanup which performed the vital role of helping Matt stay sane!

Deb Salada

Deb first joined up with the group at the 1st Jim Gilbert Memorial Build and she has been a champion of the cause ever since. We were so happy that she could be the recipient this year!

Greg Tripp

Chris Greg is a build regular and we are always glad to have him. He kept irregular hours this year but still managed to pitch in whenever he was able to make sure the project moved forward.

Fiero Brian

Brian kept things weird as usual. It was also great to see his car out and about throughout the weekend! It's been an evolving process but one we've been fortunate to participate in!

Pat Roof

Pat managed to get the hydraulics straightened out on his 85GT while also pitching in on a variety of other projects. He also provided some great tunes for our Saturday night campfire.

Brian Dearolf

MAFOA VP Brian always helps to keep Jen sane while also providing hours of entertainment to everyone who attends the build. He was a mainstay every night and might still be standing in a field chanting, "Formula, Formula!"

Eric Schneck

Eric's full attendance this year was a highlight for everyone involved. He is always an asset to the build and also managed to help Cody out with his deliveries and retrievals. Although he had to leave the Formula behind, we believe he is hoping for a custody arrangement.

Tony Wells

Although Tony was only able to stop by for a short time, we are glad he was able to check out the build and join us for lunch! Once a Fiero owner, always a Fiero enthusiast!

Sarah M

Sarah was a godsend in the food prep department! She ensured we had a great breakfast every AM and also pitched in to help with numerous other needs for helping us stay fed! She also was happy to lend her time to helping with various other projects!

Cameron Rose

Although it was only Cameron's second build, he gives off OG energy, digging in to every project and pulling off the late nights to ensure the projects get done.

Penny Woodward

Penny was excited to have a functioning e-brake this year and also delighted in helping out her "Fiero sister" Deb realize her dream of having a running blue 87 GT!

Jenn Pickardt

Jenn does so much behind the scenes to keep the Team Leaders sane - she also ensured that this year's build was exciting by bringing the accursed camper - which actually made it!

Joe Aponick

Joe is always ready to pitch in and help, from handing tools and locating parts to turning the wrenches. Although we need to tackle his AC at a later date, we are so glad he made it back again this year!

Alan Ferris

Alan actually managed some late nights this year and continued to be an asset, "even though he isn't a mechanic." He also managed to stay past 5 AM on the last day - a new record!

Jestin Pickardt

Somehow, Jestin managed to evade the camera but he definitely brought excitement to the build with his test rides in the Beast. The neighbors were also relieved that a gang didn't move into the neighborhood and it was just Eric's influence.

Marty Saia

Marty enjoyed his first build experience, which also included a memorable Air BNB. We were glad he made it and look forward to having him again next year!

Buddy Sehestedt

We're fairly certain this is Buddy's key position for every build! He definitely put in some labor to ensure we got the automatic swapped over to the 5 speed!

Bryan Hurley

Bryan's enthusiasm for all things Fiero is contagious and we enjoyed having him back for a second year! He never turns down the opportunity to help another Fiero owner and was a big help on a variety of projects!

Noelle

Noelle was an asset during her second build by digging into a variety of projects and even learning more about her own car. She also enjoyed hanging out with the other Fiero YPs!

Kevin Mitchell

First time attendee came to the build not knowing what to expect and left with another Fiero! We made sure to indoctrinate him quickly into the East Coast scene!

Charles Roswell

Charles was on the move and missed out on all the photo opps but he was a huge help to ensuring we had all the supplies we needed! We enjoyed having him and his wife, Lori, back for a second year.

Lori Roswell

Lori's second build was memorable and involved learning even more about Fieros! She and Charles ensured that we had all the supplies we need to keep the team moving.

Sam Marquardt

Sam was a 2nd year returnee who seems to have touched every project we did this year. He also managed to keep Brian on his toes and was a big help to getting Deb's car finished.

Kaden E

Kaden was a last minute recruit, and Kevin's nephew, who was further brainwashed into the Fiero fold. We hope he'll have his own before long!

William Kiernan

William was a first time build attendee and was eager to dig into Sam's 85GT to rectify it's air conditioning issues. He also learned a valuable tip about oil filter installs in the process!

Bill Kiernan

Like William, Bill was a huge asset to helping Sam get clarity on his 85GT's AC situation. He was so involved, we didn't get a better picture!

James East

Build newcomer James East was happy to pitch in across the board! He brings years of Fiero (dis)assembly knowledge and also was a big help in getting things back together.

Ashleigh G

Ashleigh's been to every build and this year enjoyed pitching in, harrassing Uncle Eric and stealing his food while also taking photos and playing with Ben!

Michael Shane "FieroJesus" Wilcher

This was Fiero Jesus' first build but we sure hope it won't be his last. He jumped in across the board on so many projects and also managed to keep us entertained!

Lindsay Faulkner

Lindsay wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty at her first build and also managed to keep the conversations flowing!

Ben

Ben enjoyed his second build and looks like he is already engineering projects for the future.

Bella

Bella enjoyed her second Jim Gilbert Memorial Build although she hopes that Reese will be better at sharing during her next visit.

Reese

Reese made sure to remind everyone that naps and food are the most important parts of the build and appreciated everyone ensuring she got both.

Killian

Killian learned that she loved being covered by blankets although it wasn't quite as fun as chasing sparkles, of which there were plenty during the weekend!
