We are proud to announce that Elwood has been recognized with the "Best Communities for Music Education" award by the NAMM foundation.
At John Glenn High School, I am personally proud of our choral program and the excellent work we accomplish together. Choral music is something truly special. It has a unique way of connecting us to one another and because of that, the lessons we learn together and the relationships we build extend far beyond the walls of our classroom. We sing not to be the best, but to become better people.

About me
Music has been a passion of mine since I was little. I have been in more choirs than I can count! As a kid, I also played the clarinet and the piano. I even studied the bassoon for a bit in high school, although I've completely forgotten most of it now. I love all things broadway and am a self-proclaimed "theater nerd." I try to see a show whenever I have enough time!
I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio which is also where I went to college. I attended the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), studing vocal performance for my Bachelor and Master's degrees. I worked as a professional opera singer for ten years before I started my teaching career!
Although I came to teaching later in life, it is something I truly love. I enjoy working with our talented students, introducing them to new music, and creating a space where they feel comfortable to be themselves. My door is always open!
