Hello! I hope you're doing well! My name is Josiah Garza, and I am a composer hailing from South Texas. I am a percussionist and a recorder player always doing my best to continue growing. I currently attend the University of Texas at Austin as a biology major while I continue to build myself in preparation of starting an undergraduate program in music in the fall of 2021. I currently study composition with Dr. Michael Mikulka and have an immense passion for education and learning. When I'm not caught up in a book or trying something new I can often be found behind a marimba or working on my latest score. I love collaborating with other artists and draw inspiration from the emotional outlets in the world around me.
