The world we see now was created by God, the mountains, the lakes, oceans, hills, deserts, etc. He is the creator of all, even you! Some may argue that there is no evident proof of the existence of God, but I beg to differ; when we look at a building, we know that there was a builder who designed it before it existed. The atheistic argument of the "Big Bang becomes invalid when the law of thermodynamics is applied. When people hear about God, they think loving and forgiving God, but leave out the Holy and just part. God is holy, He is without error always. Many people are scared of dying because they don't know what happens after death. Our physical death is called wages (Romans 6:23), a punishment, a sentence we earned because of our disobedience from God. When we die, we are going to face God and give an account for our lives; God gives us a standard to live by, the Ten Commandments; lets look at a couple of them. I ask you today, answer honestly, have you ever stolen, regardless of value? have you ever committed adultery? used God's name in vain? If you have said yes to any of these, the Bible says you are guilty of all of breaking all of His commandments (James 2:10). If God were to judge you by the Ten Commandments, we would all be guilty. God is so just that He is going to send a person who raped 5 girls and killed them to hell. Additionally, God is so perfectly just that He will send anyone who told a lie, no matter how insignificant you may think it is; the person who you least expect it will be sent to hell. Theoretically lets say you have a stack of fines to pay, the judge says you will have to spend time in jail, but this random person has payed all your fines you're free to walk. That is what Jesus did for us 2000+ years ago on Golgotha hanging on the criminal's cross. We are guilty of breaking the law of God and deserve hell! We are guilty of disobeying the Lord God. Alone we have no defense for us and we will be sent to the lake of fire. But. when you repent (turn away) and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, you are set free from condemnation. Every day, according to the CDC, 2,854,838 people die. You do not know if you will be here tomorrow or even later today (James 4:14); tomorrow is never promised. If you believe that Jesus died for your sins, you must repent of them and believe with your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.
