I am an accomplished Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) with close to 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, specializing in healthcare and human services. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Journalism and a Master’s of Science in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy.
As a speaker and thought leader, I have a successful combination of a business mindset with practical strategies that will help to elevate your fundraising efforts. I have an extensive background in media, marketing, and public relations which I believe enriches my understanding of the nonprofit landscape, enabling me to drive successful outcomes.
My leadership, mentorship, and strategic thinking skills will benefit start-up and growth-stage nonprofits, helping you expand your reach and operate with excellence. I have a proven track record in strategic planning, governance, and capacity-building, which are essential for increasing philanthropic revenue and achieving mission-driven goals.
I have successfully implemented fundraising strategic plans that have resulted in 30-50% growth in individual giving for multiple organizations. In addition, I have managed teams focused on diverse funding sources, including major gifts, grants, and corporate partnerships.
Early in my career, I founded a community nonprofit, fostering a strong board and cultivating a sustainable culture of philanthropy, a nonprofit that I am proud to say is still in existence today. I am Plus Delta Certified in Frontline Fundraising, hold a Lean Six Sigma White Belt from Rutgers, and am a mentor for emerging leaders in Development.
I have presented at regional and national conferences on Major Gifts and Board Development, sharing insights and expertise with the wider nonprofit community.
