The Jewish cemetery of Szeged is still in use today, located on the edge of the town, next to the public cemetery there. It is a special situation, where jewish, orthodox and catholic cemeteries are side to side, representing peace among different religions.

Its history, gravestones and monuments well reflect the fate of the Jews who have lived here from the end of the 18th century up to present.
