Jewish music began a little over 400 years ago with the court composure Salamoni de Rossi of mantua. It also comes from a ancient prayer almost 3000 years ago. Famous Musican Ernest Bloch was so amazing everyone thought about having him as the fourth B opposed to the 3 which were Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms. Jewish Music has been around since what is now known as 'the biblical times'. Jewish people started making music and taking intrest in it when the Hebrew bible said a line about Moses using a song to lead people to to a divine nature.
One of the main instruments of Jewish music is an Kinnor. A Kinnor is also called a Lyre, this is mainly used to accompany of singing, for private drinking parties. The way to use the instrument is by using one hand to pluck the strings. Similar to a guitar or Harp.
When making Hebrew music its best to have the lyrics as Jewish prayers. Even though modern Jewish music is more embracive and has many different varieties, it still has all the main components, which is the lyrics , the unique instrments.
