· a cleaning cloth, cotton cloth is best such as a hand towel or dish towel

· rosin, light or dark

· a shoulder pad, please know that shoulder pads are preferable to sponges readily available at music stores and online

· a pencil

· a practice notebook or practice calendar on a smartphone or tablet

· a tuner/metronome or tuner/metronome app on a smartphone or tablet, I use Tonal Energy on my iPad for both metronome and tuner functions
