Think of it like filling a stadium with people—as it gets crowded, it takes longer for the last few individuals to find an open seat.

Regenerative braking is an intelligent energy-recovery mechanism. Whenever you lift your foot off the accelerator or press the brakes, the electric motor reverses the current direction. Instead of wasting energy as heat through the brake pads, it captures that kinetic energy and feeds it back into your high-voltage battery to extend your driving range. This is best utilized while traversing downhill on EV mode.
This feature provides the user handsfree operation of locking and unlocking the vehicle for comfortable exit and entry. It can be toggled on or off via the main infotainment screen settings depending on the users preference.
Safety Lock Mechanism: The car automatically locks the gun in place during charging to prevent accidental detachment.
How to release: Unlock the vehicle doors using your smart key fob to instantly release the charging port lock. If it remains stuck, pull the emergency manual release cord located inside the trunk area behind the side panel lining.
Confirm the smart key is inside the vehicle and its battery is not depleted. Try placing the keyfob on the center console, look for the key sign at the bottom of the cup holder.
Check if the 12V battery is weak or drained. If the lights and dashboard are completely dead, the 12V battery needs a jump-start or a reset.
For PHEV/EV units, ensure the high-voltage battery charging cable is completely unplugged from the charging port before performing a jumpstart or reset.
Ensure the brake pedal is completely (firmly) pressed down and the vehicle is fully in the "READY" state for EV/PHEV, while engine is started for ICE models.

Extreme outside temperature drops or aggressive driving can cause temporary tire pressure fluctuations.
The system may need to calibrate. Try to inflate each tires higher (at least 40PSI) than the standard pressure indicated in the information plate located on the driver side pillar of the vehicle, wait at least 5 seconds to see if the indicator will turn off.
Drive the vehicle at speeds above 25 km/h for roughly 10 minutes to allow the sensors to reset and update the dashboard layout.
If it stays illuminated, bring the unit to a Jetour dealer to inspect for a hidden puncture or to check TPMS system.
Do not panic. Safely pull over to the side of the road, shift into Park (P), turn off the ignition, and let the vehicle rest for 5–10 minutes to cool down the system.

What your seeing in your dashboard is called "Distance to Empty", it is a system calculated value using the
combination of the following parameters:
Remaining fuel / Battery energy
Recent driving efficiency (based of recent 50km)
Current driving conditions
It is basically the vehicles estimate of "how far can you still travel with the how you've been driving recently"
Simply put, here are some calculations depending on the model of the vehicle:
For ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) models: DTE = Remaining Fuel x Average Fuel Consumption
Example: Remaining fuel - 20 liters x Average Fuel Consumption - 10km/L
Displayed calculated distance to empty = 200km
For Hybrids (like PHEV) models: an additional parameter is also being calculated, this includes the following :
Battery SOC (State Of Charge)
Electric driving efficiency
Engine usage (to regenerate Battery SOC)
Regenerative braking efficiency
Hybrid mode behavior
The system continuously analyzes these parameters that's why the displayed estimate changes dynamically.
There are various factors that may affect the displayed value, if it drops; consider the following reasons:
Driving habit (aggressive driving could lead to faster battery depletion resulting to inefficiency)
Road condition (uphill roads consume more battery SOC since the electric motor requires more power)
Continuous use of engine in HEV mode due to the SOC drop due to the earlier conditions
On the other hand, if you notice a sudden spike of your displayed DTE, this simply means that:
Continuous use of EV mode without having the need to switch to HEV
Efficiently utilizing Electric driving (not-aggressive behavior, light throttle usage)
Effective utilization of the Regenerative braking (downhill road condition)
Yes. While electric drivetrains have fewer moving parts, regular check-ups are vital to inspect thermal cooling systems, brake wear, electronic diagnostics, and suspension. For Jetour PHEVs, the required periodic maintenance service (PMS) schedule is every 12 months or 10,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
Modern automotive battery packs are engineered to last the actual lifetime of the vehicle, typically surviving 8 to 15 years (or hundreds of thousands of kilometers) depending on usage and care. When a battery reaches the end of its peak automotive life, it doesn't suddenly stop working; its total capacity simply reduces. At that stage, it can either still be driven at a reduced range or recycled for secondary "stationary" energy storage.
Yes. Jetour provides comprehensive warranty coverage for our high-voltage battery components. If your battery pack's State of Health (SOH) naturally degrades below 70% capacity within the designated warranty period and mileage limit, it is eligible for warranty evaluation and repair/replacement coverage at an authorized Jetour service center.
Plan your trips; For optimal efficiency on long drives, start your journey in EV mode to utilize stored clean energy. The hybrid system will automatically switch to HEV mode when your battery "State Of Charge" drops to the minimum threshold. Allow the engine to efficiently replenish the battery, observe the cruising speed, over speeding will only lead to unnecessary fuel consumption. Once the battery returns to roughly 70% charge, switch back to EV Mode to resume fuel-free driving. You may also want to check the real-time traffic situation on your route, EV mode is best used during traffic congested situations to efficiently save fuel.
Modern vehicles are equipped with programmable electronic control modules, these modules send and receive signals from sensors and other modules as well, signal interference usually happens with multiple factors that may lead to unusual behavior of the system, this is where the "Power Cycle" comes into play, here are a few steps to perform a proper Power Cycle:
Safely park the vehicle and switch the gear selector to Park (P).
Turn off the vehicle - press the Start/Stop button to turn off.
Open the driver's door, step out, lock the car using the key fob, and walk at least 5 meters away for 3 full minutes to let the modules enter sleep mode.
Return to the vehicle, unlock it, and start the system normally.
If this doesn't solve your issue, proceed with the next tip.
In cases that after completing a Power Cycle doesn't solve an issue, you can do a "Battery Reset" or some may call it a "Hard Reset", the steps below can be done:
Safely park the vehicle and switch the gear selector to Park (P).
Turn off the vehicle - press the Start/Stop button to turn off.
Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable of the 12V battery for at least 10 minutes, then reconnect and secure it tightly. This forces a complete reboot of all vehicle control modules.

In cases that the vehicle is completely disabled despite having a fuel or a higher Battery SOC, a "Jump-Start" will come in handy, the steps below can be done:
You will need an external power source; (a working vehicle or an spare battery with enough charge, or a portable jump-starter - a power-bank that has jump-start capability)
Confirm your vehicle's no-power state (press the start button, if the cluster shows no response or lit up, your low-voltage battery is confirmed to have no power)
Access your vehicle's low-voltage battery, (under the hood for ICE models, .or in the trunk for most hybrid models)
Connect the red (+) jumper cable to the positive (+) terminal of the discharged 12V battery, then to the positive (+) terminal of the donor battery or the portable jump-starter.
Connect the black (-) cable to the negative (-) terminal of the donor battery or portable jump-starter, then to a metal grounding point on the disabled vehicle.
Start the portable jump starter/donor vehicle or switch on the portable jump-starter to activate power.
Start your vehicle, press the start-button once, when the cluster light up, press the brake pedal firmly and press the start-button again, when the "READY" appears in your cluster, your vehicle is now running.
Once the vehicle starts, carefully remove the jumper cables in the reverse order.
