This Privacy Policy applies to the JetClean mobile application ("App"), developed and provided by Talha Eser ("Developer", "We", "Us", or "Our") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS". This page is used to inform users regarding our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information and sensitive data.
To provide core device optimization, storage cleaning, and performance management features, JetClean requires access to specific sensitive device permissions. We strictly adhere to the principle of data minimization and only request permissions essential for the App's core functionality. We explicitly state how these permissions are utilized:
Storage Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): JetClean requests full storage access solely to scan, detect, and securely delete junk files, residual caches, duplicate photos, and obsolete APKs that clutter your device storage. This operation is essential for the core "Large Files", "Similar Photos", and "Quick Clean" functionalities. All analysis is performed locally on your device. No user files (photos, documents, media) are altered without your explicit consent, and no files are collected, transferred, or uploaded to external servers.
Application Usage Stats (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): This permission is used exclusively to analyze RAM usage, running processes, and application cache sizes on your device. It allows the core "RAM Optimization" feature to display accurate metrics and identify background tasks that slow down the device.
Process Management (KILL_BACKGROUND_PROCESSES): This permission allows the App to terminate unnecessary background processes to free up system RAM and improve device performance, strictly upon your manual confirmation.
Package Management (REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES & GET_PACKAGE_SIZE): These permissions are used to fetch the storage size occupied by installed apps and to assist you in manually and safely uninstalling unwanted, space-consuming applications from within the App's interface.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used solely to send device optimization reminders or cleanup completion status reports to you.
We prioritize your privacy. All data processing regarding your personal files, RAM statistics, and storage is executed locally on your device in real-time. We do not own or maintain any external databases for user data. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share your personal data, files, or usage history with third parties.
To keep the App free of charge, JetClean integrates third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) that may collect or process information used to identify your device for advertising purposes.
Google AdMob & Google Play Services: The App declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission to utilize your device's Advertising ID. This is used exclusively for serving relevant, non-intrusive advertisements within the App. These third-party providers have their own Privacy Policies addressing how they use such information. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of Google AdMob for further details.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers (although JetClean does not store data on external servers). If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect technological changes, legal requirements, or feature updates. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
