The experts tell us we can use BKF on glass oven doors, glass stovetops, and glass table tops so why not windows? So, I got online and jumped down that rabbit hole where I found videos of people doing precisely that. BKF could rescue my view!

Sliding door tracks attract dirt, grime, bugs, and more. I use BKF MORE Spray + Foam cleaner to clean away the grime of time that builds up on tracks. Left unattended, the build-up can interfere with the operation of the door.

For years and years, we battled trying to get the exterior of our windows clean. They just never looked crystal clear. A filmy residue and often chalky streaks would remain once the windows dried. We tried a variety of window cleaners from homemade to store bought concoctions, as well as using newspaper instead of paper towels with not much success.

They shared a simple recipe for what they have found to work. They swore by it. We had already tried just using a simple combination of vinegar and water, but they learned a trick from a commercial window cleaner: add a little dish detergent to the vinegar/water mixture. Really? That simple? It was new to us, and it sounded much too easy.

So we tried it (or should I say Randy tried it) right away. Randy set out just to test a few windows and the next thing I knew he had worked all the way around the house, and was already working on some of the upstairs windows as well. There was an immediate difference, and so much easier than what we had tried in the past.

This definitely works for outside windows, where you can safely rinse with water. I have yet to try it indoors, but if you do, make sure you can rinse with plenty of water. Perhaps one spray bottle of solution, and a separate spray bottle of clean water?

I have seen formulas like this one & the one I use is 1 cup distilled water, 1/4 cup white vinegar & 2-3 drops dishwashing liquid. I use it on mirrors & glass, inside & out. I do use it on car windows but am careful when I spray. It also makes a great stainless steel cleaner, which I use on my bathroom & kitchen fixtures. It keeps them sparkling new!

With hard water you want to make sure to hand dry the windows instead of letting it air dry, the minerals in the water residue will show up. If you use the commercial windes spray, this is nothing to worry about.

We tell people all the time that they do not need to purchase the most expensive and supposedly industry leading window cleaner out there on the market. All you need to properly and effectively clean your windows is probably already under your kitchen sink! Vinegar, water, dish soap, DONE. Windows will look squeaky clean

Wow. This is FABULOUS. We live in an upper duplex with combination windows. We remove all the windows, wash them with this solution in the bath tub, rinse with our shower head, then dry with (those great Costco) microfiber towels. Not a streak anywhere! Thank you so much for sharing this!

I used the window cleaner mix; and used a squeegee. However, I totally did not see until re reading the directions, that I should have rinsed the windows. I only did the outside windows. Today I noticed they all looked so nice and clean. However, do I still need to rinse them? Thanks! ?

Second, Wise registry cleaner gets more suspicious with all the pups and weird entries in my registry. When I reinstalled it I told MWB to ignore it this time also. But unlike in the past - it creates more and more crap for no apparent reason in my registry. It worked fine for 2 days and then - wham - MWB finds 89 entries from Wise Registry Cleaner - complete with PUPS and all kinds of other things. To me - this is a flag something is going on with this program that is not on the up and up.

What is the underlying reason that you would want to do this?

Otherwise, CCleaner, to reiterate what others have said

The paid version won't add any more registry cleaning than the free version.

Download only from the maker: Piriform.com/ccleaner

agree with everyone, I am not sure I would run a registry cleaner on the server. maybe manually remove some old entries to uninstalled software but make sure you have a backup of registry as others have noted.

IF the Malware found had keys they should have been removed in the cleanup process, or you should manual research keys related to it. Check your run/run once/service keys for anything out of place. But most "registry cleaners" other the CCleaner are close to Malware themselves.

the malware traces on my server were directly linked to the registry, the server is mainly used as a mail service and got hit with mail virus spamming out emails. I got the virus removed and the machine cleaned up. I want the cleaner mainly for the purpose of verifying that everything is as it should be in the regisity as that is were the virus orgin was.

Just knowing the basics of which type of glass cleaner and cleaning tool will help you avoid doing harm to your tinted windows, but you should spend more time considering different cleaning products and the proper technique to ensure you get a professional clean on any tinted windows you have.

There are many automotive glass cleaners that work well for cleaning car windows, but only some can be used on tinted windows. When selecting a cleaner, look for a label that says tint-safe or ammonia free. A favorite cleaning product that auto detailers often use is Invisible Glass, but there are many options that work well.

Test different proven cleaners that are free of ammonia and meant for tinted windows until you find the option you prefer most for your own vehicles. Once you have the right cleaner, you need to pair it with high-quality microfiber towels to achieve the best clean.

Home windows are cleaned with harsh scrubbers and a squeegee. Tinted windows on a car are cleaned with microfiber towels. Obtain several high-quality microfiber towels, and begin cleaning by spraying a towel with one of the best window cleaners for tinted windows.

An ammonia-free window cleaner for tinted windows is meant to offer nearly as much cleaning power to your windows without damaging the tint. The cleaners rely on other chemicals like alcohol or specialized surfactants that are safe on tint while still helping you get cleaner windows.

Armor All is a popular automotive cleaning brand, and when you select Armor All Glass Cleaner, you can use it safely on tinted windows. The cleaning product makes use of isopropyl alcohol instead of ammonia for its cleaning power. This makes it safe for use on most glass surfaces around your vehicle.

There are many ammonia-free glass cleaners available for tinted windows and automotive windows in general. The best options are open to debate, but Armor All Glass Cleaner and Invisible Glass are two favorites. Test top cleaners yourself and decide on your own favorite option.

Illinois is known for dirty, damp, and cold weather conditions. The cars throughout the state get dirty windows that need regular cleanings. For best results, apply a well-known ammonia free glass cleaner like Invisible Glass or Armor All Glass Cleaner with a microfiber towel.

You may be tempted to use a standard glass cleaner on tinted windows, but you must make sure it is ammonia free before using it. Ammonia is harmful to tinted windows. Select an ammonia-free cleaner or an auto tint safe cleaner for your windows instead.

Sprayway glass cleaner is designed to be safe for humans when used as advised, but the formula can be toxic if ingested. Be careful to avoid excessive skin contact with the cleaner, and never ingest the cleaner if you can help it.

The original Windex formula gets its cleaning power from ammonia, but not all Windex solutions contain ammonia. If you are searching for an ammonia-free Windex cleaner, look for a bottle of Windex that states it is ammonia-free.

Okay, this is pretty gross thanks to Ruger constantly slobbering on the back door when he is waiting to come in. I let it build up a couple of days so I could show you how well it cleaned up with this homemade window cleaner from tea bags!

If streaky windows are a big issue in your home, try cleaning them with vinegar and warm water, which should leave them sparkling and streak-free. Another option is wiping them down with a newspaper, which cuts down on streaks and produces maximum shine.

When it comes to cleaning windows, the details are everything. Pick a cloudy day so the cleaning solution won't evaporate too fast. Make sure to wipe dust and dirt off first, then use a garden hose to power-wash the outside. When cleaning with your homemade solution, enlist the family. Have someone washing inside wiping horizontally, and someone outside wiping vertically. That way you'll know which side any streaks are on. Finish off with a good microfiber cloth or newsprint for a lint-free window.

Vinegar is great for cleaning glass, but because it's acidic, it can't be used on every surface. Vinegar can also lose its effectiveness if the container is left open for too long. For an all-purpose cleaner, stick with alcohol. As a bonus, it does a good job of disinfecting surfaces.

Vinegar is a very versatile cleaning ingredient and one that will always come in handy around the home. In addition to cleaning windows to a streak-free, shine, you can also use it to clean other types of glass (like mirrors), faucets, showers, tubs, and various appliances.

I was wondering the same question. I used window glass cleaner and also water as lubricant for my stones. water gives rise to rust on the stones (remaining abraded plane iron particles). I didnt notice this when using glass cleaner.

But the difference between automotive and window cleaner is mysterious to me also. 17dc91bb1f
