Self Defense Jiu-Jitsu
I started training Krav Maga in 2010 and loved it. One day, the owner of the gym said he hired an instructor to teach Brazilian jiu-jitsu and he wanted us to check it out. I had no idea what this was, but after attending the jiu-jitsu class a few times, I was hooked. I quit Krav Maga and started training jiu-jitsu around 2011. Self defense was a major emphasis in the classes back then. I've always appreciated the practicality of the self defense techniques and love to practice these and pass them on to others. The following techniques are those that I've trained or techniques I've found listed on a variety of resources. These are primarily what we'll practice when we get together on Saturdays. I've found Youtube videos that can help you review what you learned. I'm finding videos as we go so all the techniques will eventually have links to a video. Once we get to the end of the list, we'll start over at the top.
